Good small town diner. Food was classic, good. Will have to come back to try breakfast.
Stopped on our way back from Deep Creek Lake to Pgh. So glad bc it was delicious! Service was quick & food was fresh. Priced well. Even custom made a hot drink for me ! Everyone was very friendly. Look forward to seeing if they will expand to Pgh but we will make the stop for sure on our bi-yearly trip to Deep Creek. Thank you !
Absolutely amazing food and staff were beyond nice to me and my friends! We were running around before going on a hike trying to find a place that had breakfast 24/7 and it was a beautiful store! I can’t wait until next week for the opening in morgantown!!!
Good food and great prices. I received a ridiculously large piece of cake for only $4. How could I possibly leave a bad review? I came to this location for the first time as a child 45 years ago when it was called Smithfield Diner and the words "Nothing could be finer than to eat at Smithfield Diner" were written on the cups. I still stop when traveling to Morgantown and I'm never disappointed. Keep up the good work.
We had a great time, great food and great service here. I has the hungry man breakfast which was very flavorful and my boyfriend had jacks chicken which also was great. Their sausage gravy is really good and I would highly recommend. There pancakes are light and fluffy with a nice crisp edge.
Haven’t been inside the Smithfield Diner for nearly 10 years - the Diner on Main had big shoes to fill and they fill them well. My wife and I had a wonderful breakfast. The chicken and waffles was excellent, their omelets are huge, service is fast and food is reasonably priced. Coffee drinks were very good also. Their owner seems to have done an excellent job revitalizing this diner. I look forward to being back again soon!
Charming diner. This was a very spur of the moment, see it and pull over stop. The staff was so friendly and the prices were affordable! The food was delicious, we will definitely return when we pass through.
So I just recently started getting pick up orders here. Food tastes like my nana cooked it. Y'all have no idea how happy I am somewhere sells a great chicken and biscuits DAILY! Mozzarella sticks are super thick and crunchy, prolly best ones I've had anywhere. Staff is also very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!
My kids and I had a great experience here. Very welcoming from the waitress to the cook. We loved the food and the atmosphere. Also thank you very much to the wonderful family that paid for our meal. Really touched my heart. We will be making our way back to enjoy another great breakfast.
The Diner on Main is exactly what you would expect and picture of a quaint diner on Main Street, USA. We ordered the meatloaf and chicken dinners. The portions were generous, and everything from the mashed potatoes to the gravy tasted like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen. And do NOT pass up the homemade desserts!! What really sets this place apart, though, is the warmth of the people. The owners personally greet each table with a smile and take time to chat with everyone who walks through the door, making you feel like part of the family. The owner even surprised us with a special holiday coffee blend he created himself which was delicious and a thoughtful touch!
